I want to be able to capture a genuine photo. I want to be able to empower women and allow them to feel beautiful, to exists in photographs because our children are watching. If we don’t feel empowered and confident, our children won’t either. Many of my shoots have been inspired by Pelinda. She is from Kenya. She is a beautiful person inside and out and she is strong, her strength comes from within. I like to bring that out in her portraits. When I take photos, I try to find something that is interesting. Photos change the way you see yourself. I want to make legendary photos that you can pass down through generations. Photos that you can be proud of.
